Mental Health is need of the hour !!
A few days ago, I shared one forwarded post on my social media account. It was about mental health. I really feel that talking about mental health is the need of the hour. There is no shame in not being ok. We just need to accept it and have the courage to talk.
From the past two days, the internet is flooded with anxiety, depression, sadness, sympathy post. The actor committed suicide. We lost a young talented actor. Now, people are spreading positivity through their posts. They are asking and suggesting to talk, share, and discuss with their loved ones if they are going through any mental stress or any problem they are facing in their life.
But the question is how long the global positivity will last? Today something terrible happened with someone and everybody come together to talk about it. How many times you were present for someone? How many times someone was there for you? The majority of people do not share their problems and emotions with others. The reason is they are being judged by others or maybe they do not find someone with whom they can share their emotions. Some are fortunate but everyone is not lucky.
So, strengthen your relations with friends, family, and loved ones. "Be someone's Ear". "Talk to somebody." It really helps. "Do not judge others". "Do not make fun of their feelings or emotions". "Do not take anybody for granted"
Being a mother I believe, we must sow this seed in our children. From early childhood age, teach them to be empathetic and compassionate for others. How important it is to express their emotion and listen to others. Do encourage them to make their social bond. Motivate them to talk to somebody whom they want to talk with. This all will help them to lead their life for a better tomorrow.
