Teaching: An Honorable Profession

“Those
who educate children well are more to be honored than parents, for these only
gave life, those the art of
living well.” Aristotle
There are two people who played
the most significant role in the childhood.
The one is the mother and other is the teacher. These two people are the
most important element to build your career as well as character. How
we have turned out as an individual and what we are making of our life can be
traced back to stuff taught by our parents and teachers. These are people, who
with their actions, words, knowledge and experience of the world, has shaped
us. It is widely accepted that nobody influences children’s mind
the way their school teachers do. Teacher has more chance of motivating and
shaping young minds than parents.
I always view it as the most
honorable profession. Teacher is the responsible person who prepares young
minds for the future of the nation. Lots
of patience is required while dealing with students on any academic level. It
can be a demanding and stressful profession as the responsibility of shaping up
future of country is on teachers’ shoulders. A good teacher with his teachings
can leave a lasting impression on child’s mind.
Recently I read somewhere, “We agree with you when a teacher says that 'Today's youth
does not respect Teachers' we respect good Teachers only.” and this is true, teacher should also maintain the
dignity of this profession. This is the admirable profession and if you choose
this for your career, you must be valued it, because you are given this
responsibility to transformed values to your students. Fortunately I have
always been taught by the teachers, I always hats off to them. I have seen the
true meaning of the teacher in them. During my school days and even in college
I am blessed with the best teachers, who inspired me, guided me well and
transformed the values. On teacher’s day
I acknowledge all of them who have been my teachers in all
different stages of life. It is the time to pay tribute to them, who have
shaped up my career and imparted knowledge to me, not just to excel
academically, but also to develop me personality.
